Easy walk/run day

Today was my easy walk/run day. I went for 15 minutes and did 1.01 miles. I wanted to do more but my right leg was hurting so I stoped the treadmill and decided to stretch my legs. Stretching is something I need to work on so I am making that my goal for the rest of the week to stretch after I workout.

That is an excellent idea - I find that if I stretch thoroughly after a run, I recover a lot better from it. Perhaps you could ask your trainer to suggest three or four good leg stretches to hit all the muscle groups, and then make these a part of your running routine. Feels so good after you finish! Keep up the great work!

Another thought: sometimes something feels achy to me when I get started on my run, but if I just stick with it, it works itself out. Challenge to you for next time: get back on the treadmill and do the rest of the minutes after you've done your stretching!
