Update for the week

Monday- I worked out with my trainer Ben. It was leg day and it was a hard workout. We started with the squat machine with 160lbs on the machine and did 3 reps of 30. Then we moved on to squats with a weighted bar and did shoulder presses when I came up from doing the squat. Then I did lunges with the bar resting on my shoulders/back and then finished up with some hamstring curls.

Tuesday- Another day with the trainer. Tuesday was back and shoulders and abs. One of the exercises that I performed at the end I thought that it was kind of hard but then it was pointed out to me that I was able to complete 2o reps so it must of not been that hard.

Wednesday- Today I didn't really want to do anything after dealing with a headache for two days but didn't want to dig a whole with all the miles that I would of missed so I went up to the gym. I had planned to do 3 miles on the treadmill but after a mile into the workout my shorts were really bothering me. Why is it that sometimes you can be wearing the most comfortable shorts but then when you go to workout in them they become very annoying. I talked myself into finishing 2 miles since that was what I had to do. I am having trouble doing the speed that smart couch would like me do which is a 17:13. I am usually finishing at a 15 pace.

Great week so far! It's fine if you go faster than the smart coach pace for those easy runs. They give you a vey conservative pace for those. I usually go faster than what they say for me, as well.
