1st workout of the new year

Thanks Jenny for helping me get back out and run if it wasn't for you I think I would be slacking off for another couple of weeks maybe months. My last run workout was about three months ago and the last time I walked was on Thanksgiving Day but didn't think that I would be so out of breathe with running for one minute but I was. I had decided that I was going to do 2 miles for the day on my neighborhood path. I walked for 4 minutes and ran for 1 minute and finished it in 41 minutes. Hopefully it won't take me a long time till I will be running for a longer time.

Glad you got out there to run! I thought of all of you running around when I hit mile 19 or so.

Good for you for getting back out there. Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started again.

You should try the "couch to 5K" program...Riley started it and loves it! It will get you from no running to running a full 5K in 10 weeks with just 3 workouts a week.
