Sunday's workout

I made my goal this week of working out 5 of 7 days, that felt great. My workout today was to do 3 miles. I went to the gym and did it on the treadmill. I hit the 5k loop program button and set out to finish it. I started out at 3.5 miles and then bumped it up to 5.o( I could only run at this speed for 2 minutes) . I was able to gradually progress. I finished up with an average speed of 3.9. I did 3.11 in 46.40 minutes with an average 15.23m/m.

Great job with the workout. Running for 2 minutes at 5.0 will make the walking and slower running seem much easier. Try and build a little more on each time for the amount of time you can run at that faster pace. Your pace right now is well within the 16:00/mi pace - keep training and you'll be able to hold that pace or faster for the half-marathon.
