Walk/Run Day

I usually like to leave Saturday as my rest day but since I went to Hurrican Harbor on Thursday I felt like I needed to make up my 30 minute walk/run that was planned for Thursday. I started out walking for 30 seconds and then running for 1 1/2 minutes I did this for about 8 minutes and then I had to stop and use the restroom. I started back up and after about 10 minutes of doing this same routine. I started to feel a little dizzy so I slowed down. I think the dizziness was not having anything to eat before working out. I finished up and ended up walking/ running for 35 minutes for 1.97 miles.

I am glad you finished despite feeling dizzy. I always have to eat something before I workout or this happens to me too. I have never been one of those people who can do cardio on an empty stomach first thing in the morning! I usually have plain oatmeal with a banana before my runs.

Good for you for making up your workout. Hang in there, you are doing great. Each week things will get a bit easier.
