Wednesday's evening workout

I was feeling exhausted but thought that if I worked out I would feel better, so I dragged myself up to the gym to workout on the treadmill. I decided that I was going to alternate between walking and running so I thought that a quarter mile was a good marker to change. I ended up walking at a speed of 3.8 and running between 4.5-5.0 I even tried running at 5.5 but felt like I was going to fly off the treadmill. I ended up doing this combination for 47.05 minutes for 3.25 miles. My average pace was 14:38 and my average speed was 4.1 so I was very happy for these results. Tomorrow I am going to try another early morning workout before I have to get ready and go to work.

GREAT WORKOUT!!! Good for you! Keep up the hard work, your pace will get easier as you get your body more used to it - I sure know that feeling that you're going to fly right off the treadmill...it eventually goes away as you get to be a better runner. Keep at it!
