Long Run

This week I start a new running program thanks to Jenny and Mark. My old program had me down for 11 miles but with the new program it was 8 miles. I got up and put my running clothes on but my mind was telling me to not go out. I had some toast with peanut butter on it and headed out the door. I started out and then my left foot started to hurt so I started bargaining with my self if I ran to the curb I could walk for a few minutes. Then the wind started to pick up. I felt like it was one thing after another with my run. On the good note my ipod clock was messed up so I thought that my time was slower than it actually was so that was my highlight of the run when I was finished.

I did it in 1 hour and 52 minutes.

Total Miles for the Week: 11.55

Great job! Sounds like you are really back on track with your new program - hopefully it will pump up your motivation, and you will make great progress the next 9 weeks. You can bet I'll be checking in to see how it works out on Tuesday!!!
