Who would of thought that the weather would be cold on Thanksgiving Day to run the YMCA Turkey Trot. My mom and I did the 8 mile race. We had planned to run together but had gotten split up due to people standing in the starting line waiting for the 3 mile race to start. I headed out and then decided to wait a few minutes to see if I could even see my mom. Then I rounded the corner between mile 5 and mile 6 and there was my mom ahead of me. I finished the race in 2:06:43.86 (gun time) and chip time was 2:00:41.50 my pace was 15.05 which was the same as my mom's so that was pretty cool.
