Thusday's workout

I started back to work from being off for 10 days and was exhausted. I just wanted to curl up and go to bed early (which meant that I would have to workout on Saturday). After talking with Jenny I decided to get ready and go to the gym. At least I knew that the gym wouldn't be very crowded at night. I got on the treadmill and pushed the 5k program button and then pushed in 4.4 for the speed ( I knew that by using the 5k button I wouldn't stop at 2 miles and talk myself out of doing the last mile instead I would just finish it.) I finished 3.23 miles in 43.52 minutes with an average pace of 13.38.

I have also thought of some goals that I would like to work on besides finishing the Disney half marathon with my mom and three sisters.
1. I would like to be able to finish a 5k race in 3o minutes
2. I would like to try at least one fitness class at my gym.
3. I would like to be able to run a full mile without stopping to walk.

Total Miles for week 8: 5.23

Sounds like some great goals for 2008!

You can accomplish ALL of those goals! I think they are great goals.

You go girl!! I know you can tackle those goals...just look at what you accomplished this year.
