...When I signed up for the 2008 Disney Half Marathon with my mom and three sisters! This was my training blog leading up to this event. Since I enjoyed blogging about my training sessions I thought I would just keep on blogging.

Running/Walking Day
I got up this morning and packed my gym bag so that I could go straight to the gym from work. I was all excited to try my Nike plus out but when I got to the gym I noticed that I had forgot to put the piece that goes on my ipod so I couldn't use it. I plugged in 4.1 on the treadmill with an incline of 1.5 and did 2 miles for 31 minutes. My pace was 15.47 m/m which I didn't think was to bad. I decided that I was going to try and run through a whole song (usually the ones with a faster beat). I was able to get through at least half of the song or even three-fourths of the song before I had to walk. My goal was to not slow the speed down on the treadmill and at one point I had bumped the speed up to 4.5.
