Hopefully Back on Track

Total miles for the week: 2.5

Last week was a very emotional week. Allie was watching her friend's dog and guinea pig last week and low and behold the piggie died on us (very sad and stressful day). So I mentally felt like I had a dark cloud above me since I wasn't able to get a hold of the parents to see what they wanted done with their little piggie. So I knew that if I chose to keep this black cloud above me it would only hurt me.
So today I decided that I needed to get back on track and shake the black cloud away. I also go see the doctor tomorrow to see if my thyroid medicine is working or if they will need to change it. I am thinking that it may need to be tweaked a little bit but only the blood test will tell them that. I also went to the lab for them to take the blood and the lady said that she needed to take it from my hand which freaked me out.
Allie had soccer practice tonight which is about a block away from the gym so I had all ready decided that I was going to work out while she was at practice (practice lasts between hour and a half and two hours). I had taken my fuel belt in case I decided that I was going to stay outside and run/walk. The weather was quite nice not to humid it was around 90 degrees. I decided to just walk/run but it turned out I walked more due to being on the side of the road and walking in grass and dirt didn't want to hurt myself. Then when I got home I logged onto mapmyfitness to see about how far I had gone. The only thing was that I had to guess where I started and stopped since we were at a church and it wasn't marked so I am guessing that I did about 2.5 miles in about 50 minute

Sorry you've had such a bad time lately - but you are right, the best thing to do to get rid of the black cloud is to get right back into exercising. It will definitely make you feel better, no matter what else happens. Can't wait to see you next week!
