Update for the week

Monday my training session was cancelled so I didn't even get up to the gym had two girl scout meetings to go to on Monday

Wednesday
I realized that I was behind in my training schedule for the Turkey Trot race so I went up to the gym to do 2 miles at 17:13 pace. This pace was just to hard to do after I have been doing paces between 15 and 16 minute miles. I decided that I was going to change this pace to a 15 minute mile. I actually did that. I am alternating running 2 minutes with walking 2 minutes in till I feel comfortable with running a whole lot more.

Thursday
Allie asked me if I would go up to the gym with her tonight so that she could see how long it would take her to finish a 5k since she is running a race with her grandmother on Saturday. I got my 2 miles in at a 15 minute mile. So I may go back to smart coach and see about changing my training program and that way maybe my finishing date will be around the same date as the Turkey Trot.

Miles for the Week: 4 (right on target for the week)
