This year Allie, our two dogs(Cocoa and pumpkin), my dad and I walked the 3 mile race while my mom ran the 8 mile race. The staging area for both races were crowded, so I was hoping no one would bump into my left arm. The horn went off for the 3 mile race and it took us 20 minutes to cross the start line. This was my first race where I wasn't timed for the race. We passed the first mile and they did have the time displayed but it started when the 8 mile race starred. Both Pumpkin and Cocoa did really well. They didn't even bark or growl at the other dogs but they also didn't like the community doggie water bowl so they shared a cup of water. We crossed the finish line in about an hour and then headed over to the 8 mile finish line to cheer mom on but we missed her coming in. Here is a video that Allie took along the route.
