Just another Monday

I had talked with Jenny about having problems getting in my workouts. She helped see that there were times that I could go even if I was tired. We talked about it and came up with a plan for me that was doable and that I would just have to do it or get up earlier in the morning to do it ( I'm not really a morning person so I voted for the evening workouts). Last week came and went with me getting in two workouts which I didn't like but am not going to beat myself up about that. This week I made a promise with myself that I would try to get in the workouts that Jenny and I talked about so today I packed my workout clothes so I could go straight to the gym after class, if I went home to get them I probably wouldn't have gone out to the gym. I got to the gym and went to change and then went upstairs to the treadmills. I was really feeling sluggish so plugged in 39 minutes in the Nike+ so that way I couldn't talk myself into doing less time. I walked more than I ran tonight due to being tired. Then I went home and uploaded my workouts for September into the Nike + website and found out that I am just two workouts away from accomplishing my goal of running/walking 10 times in the month so I know what I am going to be doing before Thursday. I would really like to get my medal for accomplishing this goal, I know its not about the rewards that Nike + gives you on their website that it is about me setting goals and then accomplishing them for myself.

Good for you. I always think the hardest part about working out is putting on the clothes and getting myself out the door.
