Monday's workout

At the gym I go to I had signed up for monthly training sessions and so after a year of doing this off and on. I decided to cancel them but I have 9 sessions to use up before I lose them so I scheduled a session with a trainer that I haven't used since he had an opening and the other two trainers that had openings I have used before and didn't like them. We did upper body today which was good. It was more like a circuit style workout. We did shoulder presses, bicycles (3 sets) then moved on to lat pull downs with my hands facing me with bench dips (3 sets) pushups (first set was regular pushups which I could do 5 and the other 5 I didn't come all the way down for the first set and then modified push ups for the last two sets) and plank (3 sets), ab work flutter kicks , touching right hand to left leg raising shoulders off the ground, (3 sets) moved on to back extensions and mountain climbers (3 sets) and then moved on to the bicep curl machine only I was trying to keep the trainer from pulling the handles down. Then when I was done with the session I went to try and do 20 minutes on the step machine (I only lasted 10 minutes no wonder I don't use this cardio machine a whole lot since I don't really like it.)
